This is how you get a Strava KOM without cheating. I’m an average cyclist. I hold 12 of them.

Chocolate is my vegetable, and ice cream is my fruit. German is my language, and Europe is my home.

Today marked a very special day in my cycling "career". My Strava profile now says that I tracked more than 100'000 (!!!!!) km. And this still misses all riding from before Strava. Pros would do this in five years or less. It took me 15 years. I've been to wonderful places and climbed so many epic peaks. Just today I added another two to my palmarès. I've been out with great people and while I've had a fair share of mishaps or simply very hard days, I've had a lot of fun. Never did I have a very major crash, though luck was sometimes on my side. And now...?
Told you: It's a trilogy. Today's timberframe monument is the "Riese" hotel in Miltenberg, one of Germany's oldest inns. That brings an end to this first big cycling weekend of the year.
Guess we might make this a series. Yet another romantic spot in the middle of Germany. Yet another chance to claim the photo of the day. 😜 Prettiest city hall in Germany?
Cyclists of Germany, I'm sorry, but I took the picture of the day. 😁😁 Find this romantic spot in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
Rare moment that @anyuchenay takes a photo of me. We're often so in the flow of moving. This Saturday, we reached the peak of our winter - almost literally. My legs long for cycling, but I'm grateful for every weekend in the snow.
Where is home? Every place you crave to return to.
Throwback to just one week ago, when I said goodbye to short-sleeve jerseys for this year.
Weekend is near. Time to go to high altitude again.
The Tremola San Gottardo might slow me down, but accelerates my love for riding the Alps.
